As a clerk to the Supreme Court of British Columbia in 1998, Sarah learned the importance of sound legal research. She gained practical experience as a litigator with Edwards Kenny & Bray before leaving practice to establish OnPoint in 2000.

Sarah is committed to providing OnPoint’s clients with a competitive edge. She is dedicated to ensuring that OnPoint produces nothing less than exceptional work and offers outstanding service

Pamela Murray, B.A. (Hons.), LL.B

After obtaining her law degree from UBC in 2004, Pam served as a law clerk for the British Columbia Court of Appeal. She then articled and practised with Borden Ladner Gervais in Vancouver. Pam originally worked for OnPoint in 2006 and then left to practise administrative law and general civil litigation before returning to OnPoint in 2014. Pam has a wealth of experience researching complex legal issues and preparing submissions for both trial and appellate courts.

Graeme Hooper, B.A. (Hons), M.A., J.D.

Graeme HooperGraeme obtained a law degree from UBC in 2012. He then clerked for the Chief Justice of British Columbia at the British Columbia Court of Appeal. After clerking, he articled and practised at Borden Ladner Gervais, working in commercial litigation. While there, he prepared submissions for and appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia.

Meagan Hannam, B.A., LL.B

After obtaining her law degree from the University of Victoria in 2007, Meagan served as a clerk for the British Columbia Court of Appeal. She articled with Bull, Housser & Tupper LLP in Vancouver, and, after completing her articles, continued to practise at the firm for several years. Meagan’s practice focused on general civil litigation and included appearing before all levels of court in British Columbia.

Kate Bond, B.A. (Hons), B.A., J.D.

Kate was awarded the Law Society Gold Medal on graduating from UBC Law in 2011. After clerking with the B.C. Court of Appeal, she articled with the Department of Justice in Vancouver and subsequently worked as a litigator in the Business and Regulatory Law Section. She appreciates all aspects of legal work but particularly enjoys research and writing.

Sarah Hudson, B.A., J.D., LL.M.

After obtaining her law degree from the University of Toronto in 2007, Sarah served as a clerk for the British Columbia Court of Appeal. She articled with Borden Ladner Gervais in Vancouver, and after completing her articles, continued to practise at the firm for several years. Sarah took a one-year hiatus from practice to earn her Master of Law degree at the University of Cambridge. While Sarah’s litigation practice focused on civil appeals, she also gained diverse experience in general civil litigation.

Melania Cannon, B.A. (Hons.), M.A., J.D.

Melania CannonAfter completing her M.A. in History and her J.D. at UBC, Melania further developed her research and writing skills while serving as a clerk to the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Melania then completed her articles at Young, Anderson. She went on to practise at the firm as an associate where she was involved with a variety of litigation and research projects, including drafting submissions for the Court of Appeal of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of Canada.
