1. Why does OnPoint have a website services division?
Many of our existing clients have told us that, despite knowing the value of a professional website, they did not have the time to devote to having a site designed or figuring out how to ensure that it was visible on the internet. Our services have always been intended to assist busy lawyers, so this seemed like a natural addition to our company. In addition, our existing talents (research and writing) fit nicely into this new range of services. We create case summaries and articles to both enhance website content and to optimize search engine optimization.
2. Who does your website design?
Our website designer is an experienced and talented designer who also has a law degree. The combination of her knowledge of site design, sound navigation methodologies, understanding of search engine optimization, and legal background provides her with the ideal skill set to create professional and effective law firm websites.
3. What is included with your Website Development Package?
4. What web-related services do you provide?
Apart from complete website design, we offer several
services designed to enhance website content and to optimize visibility
on the internet. The use of selective key words and phrases in website
text results in increased 'hits' when internet users are
searching for lawyers and law firms:
- Case summaries (available on a monthly, quarterly or semi-annual basis)
- Articles on various legal topics
- Other practice-specific material suggested by our clients
5. What are your payment terms?
A deposit of 50% of the price quote for the website is required to begin the project. The balance will be paid on completion of the project. Interest at the rate of 18% shall be charged from the due date. No interest shall be charged on accounts paid within 30 days. Unfortunately, we currently do not accept MC or VISA in payment for our website services.
6. How long does it take to get a website designed and launched?
We do the best we can to have websites completed and launched on the internet as soon as possible. Average development time ranges from 4 to 12 weeks depending upon the size and complexity of the site, when we receive the site copy and content from the client, the date of sign-off for the layout and our production schedule.
